Choose the assortment before choosing its decoration
A Diwali mithai assortment, a dry-fruit gift and a mixed retail presentation need different interior arrangements. Define the actual products and how each is individually packaged. The visual theme can connect a range, but it cannot replace the component specification.
Map each sweet or sealed portion by footprint and height. If the gift includes several textures or a mixture of wrapped and tray-held items, ask the food supplier to define the appropriate inner packaging. Do not infer storage compatibility from the fact that the foods appear together in a promotional image.
Give each section a useful boundary
Separate compartments can help present a varied assortment, provided the boundaries suit the selected portions. Check that a divider does not press into a soft item and that the first piece can be lifted cleanly. Review the arrangement once part of the gift has been eaten or removed.
Sectioned pastry trays provide a reference for a divided layout. Ribbon gift boxes and printed magnetic folding boxes offer different outer presentations. Confirm whether an existing format fits your inner packs or whether a new insert must be proposed.
Separate non-food gifts from the food presentation
If the assortment includes a diya, candle, decorative item or retail accessory, give it its own suitable packaging and retaining position. Record its mass and outline so it cannot shift onto the sweets. Any product instructions should remain available to the recipient; the outer artwork should not imply that an accessory can be used inside the paper gift box.
When the range has several sizes, keep one version table listing the contents, box reference, insert revision and accessory list. This helps avoid substituting a tray or ribbon from a similar-looking version during packing.
Review the complete design on its chosen material
Develop the greeting, pattern and brand marks together, with approved language and imagery for the destination customer. Evaluate fine text and decorative finishes on the specified stock. Check how the inside of the lid, insert and card appear as the recipient opens the gift.
Record which elements are part of the packaging supply and which will be added by the food or gift assembler. Request a quotation by finished set and component, then confirm the receiving date for the actual campaign. The sample approval checklist helps distinguish an accepted structure from an accepted printed presentation.
