Measure the board, then the decoration
The board often sets the minimum footprint. Record its widest dimension and measure the cake again after toppers, flowers and side decoration are added. Include any support or protective arrangement in the packed height.
Choose how the cake is loaded
A removable cover can make loading a tall cake easier than lowering it through a narrow opening. Check where hands support the board and how the customer removes the cake without scraping the sides.
Review the complete carrying set
The base, wall, cover, closure and carrier work together. Test the assembled set with the intended cake weight and handling method; a decorative ribbon is not automatically a lifting handle.

A few useful answers
Is the cake diameter enough to choose a box?
Include the board as well as the cake. Side decoration, protective components and the space needed to place or remove the cake can make the required internal dimensions larger.
Can the same branding be used on the box and bag?
Yes, the range can be designed together. Paper and transparent surfaces can show colours differently, so confirm the placement, print approach and sample on each component.
