Should the bag match the box internal dimensions?
Use the assembled box external measurements when planning its bag. Include ribbons, handles and other projections, then allow practical space for lowering the box into the carrier.
Can I specify a carrying weight from the paper thickness alone?
Paper thickness is only one factor. Handle fixing, base construction, folds and the actual load distribution all matter. Agree a filled handling sample and an appropriate check for the selected bag.
