The wedge-shaped pack presents the cut face of a single slice without surrounding it with a large rectangular carton. It is a useful starting point for bakery counter portions where customers choose by seeing the layers and topping.

Size the pack around the cut portion

Check the slice at its widest rear edge, its pointed end and its highest decoration. Include any base liner when measuring. A label or paper sleeve needs its own allowance so it does not pull the clear cover out of alignment.
