TUZHE PACKAGING GUIDE

Size Egg Tart Boxes Around the Actual Portion Layout

Choose an egg tart carton using the lined tart diameter, row arrangement and window position. A portion-count label is only the start of the fit check.

A box described as holding four or six egg tarts assumes a particular tart size and arrangement. Your pastry, paper cup and spacing may differ. Work from the lined tart as packed, then determine the carton footprint and lid clearance.

Measure the part that occupies the space

Paper cups can flare beyond the pastry base. Measure their widest outline in the condition used for packing, and include any extra liner or tray. Note the height of the tallest tart rather than measuring only the empty cup.

Check more than one representative portion where your product varies. A layout that fits unusually small tarts gives a misleading impression of the required space. The purpose is to understand the intended product range, not to force every piece against the carton wall.

Build the rows before choosing the outer size

Arrange the intended count on a flat reference sheet. Mark the occupied width and depth, then identify where separation and edge clearance are needed. An insert changes this drawing: the cavity layout, dividers and usable corners all take space.

For an illustrative two-by-two arrangement, four lined tarts each 75 mm across occupy at least 150 × 150 mm if placed directly beside one another. That is an occupied layout, not an orderable internal box size. Add the spacing, wall clearance and removal access required by the proposed construction, then verify them in a sample.

Close the lid and inspect the window

Place the complete arrangement in the assembled carton. Close the lid through its normal motion and inspect the corners, locking tabs and underside of the window frame. Maximum lid height is not the only constraint; a folded edge may project into a tart near the perimeter.

Look through the window from a customer’s normal viewing angle. Check whether it shows the intended tarts and whether a label or folded rim obscures them. The window should be evaluated with the food in position, not just as a shape on an artwork file.

Distinguish fit from food-contact requirements

A successful arrangement proves only that the selected portions can be accommodated in the trial. Tell the supplier how the tarts are packed, how long the pack is used and whether the pastry or liner contacts each surface. Request the material information for that use rather than assuming a kraft appearance answers the question.

Use kraft egg tart boxes with display windows as a starting format, and review the actual sample with its supplied components. Where the set also includes cards or ribbon, the egg tart gift-set guide covers those presentation decisions separately.

Save the layout for repeat packing

Keep a top-view photograph, lined tart dimensions, portion count and insert reference with the approved carton. Staff should be able to reproduce the arrangement without consulting an attractive but unmeasured promotional image. If the assortment changes, review the occupied footprint before reusing the previous size.
